Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company was founded by Frank Seiberling in 1898 in Akron, Ohio – USA. The company is named after the inventor of vulcanized rubber – Charles Goodyear. The tires produced and offered under the Goodyear brand became more and more sought after and popular, and in 1926 the brand conquered the world, becoming the largest manufacturer of this type of product. Today, Goodyear is one of the most sought-after and recognizable tire brands in the world.
