The founder of Vredestein is Emil Louis Constant Schiff, who in 1908 became the owner of a small company for the production of rubber products in Delft. However, the real change began in 1991, when a group of Dutch private investors acquired the entire package of shares, injected fresh capital and know-how and attracted the Italian design house Giugiaro Design as a partner. For Vredestein, this collaboration with the acclaimed designer of the century Giorgio Giugiaro and his son Fabrizio is proving to be very beneficial, as their design skills make Vredestein tires a European premium brand with an emphasis on safety, stability and design.
